WHAT SERVICES ARE INCLUDED?

We provide music for every facet of your event, including cocktails, dinner and dancing. Our contract includes all necessary sound equipment and all DJ and band services. Weddings and events more than 20 miles from our offices in New York will incur additional fees.

CAN YOU PERFORM THE MUSIC AT OUR WEDDING CEREMONY?

We will gladly provide the music for the ceremony, assuming that it is in the same location as the reception. Otherwise, additional equipment and staff will be required to fulfill this request.

DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS FROM GUESTS?

Ultimately, our performers are there to guarantee that you and your wedding guests have an amazing experience at your event. The DJs and band leaders work with our clients in advance, to assure that all requests are included in the playlist for the night. Our DJs also accept requests the day of the wedding, assuming that they are within reason and that the DJ possesses the music. It is more difficult for bands to take requests at the actual event.

HOW WILL THE PERFORMERS BE DRESSED FOR MY EVENT?

The DJs and band members will be dressed in the same manner the guests at your wedding or event. We take our image very seriously.

WHY SHOULDN’T I JUST USE MY IPOD OR A PREMADE MIX INSTEAD OF A DJ?

Timing and selection are everything. A machine cannot determine when the audience is craving a slow jam, some disco or a pop hit. The vibe of an event or wedding is created by the DJ – using and ipod can never achieve the desired effect.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO INCORPORATE CULTURAL TRADITIONS INTO OUR WEDDING RECEPTION?

Of course! It is our job to assure that you get exactly what you want on your big day. We will work with you to make sure that we include everything you request. We have DJs in New York and beyond that are specialists for every kind of cultural wedding reception.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY ON THE DAY OF MY EVENT?

This has never been an issue in the past – we have always been on time, ready to perform. However, if an emergency were to arise, we have a large staff of DJs and musicians, always available as back up.

HOW MUCH NOTICE DO I NEED TO GIVE YOU IN ORDER TO BOOK MY DATE?

We are generally available for last minute events and weddings, but recommend a few months lead time to ensure that you get exactly what you want. It is easier for us to accommodate last minute requests for DJs than bands.

WHAT TYPE OF SET UP DO YOU USE FOR PLAYING?

We can bore you with the intimate details of our technical set up, but why bother? We are extremely dedicated and addicted to delivering an impeccable performance with perfect sound. One guarantee – our DJs will be playing on turntables, as music is meant to be played. No CD DJing here!
